From Skidby roundabout the new surface course has now been laid on the road, the new concrete central barrier has been installed and the existing metal restraint barriers have been removed.

Work has started to install the kerbing on the cycle/footway and also the stone sub-surfacing.

The street lighting has now also been installed from Dunflat Road junction southwards towards Skidby

From Dunflat Road to Bentley, the Dunflat Road junction has been closed whilst the new road layout was created.

It is now no longer permitted to turn right on this junction on to the A164.

The road surfacing towards Bentley Bridge has now been completed and, along the new cycle/pathway, the kerbing and surfacing has been installed, as has the new lighting.

On the eastern side of the section between Dunflat Road and Bentley, clearance work has begun and a new drainage pond has been dug.

The stone for the new footpath/cycleway, which will go between Beverley and Cottingham, is now also in place.

Work on Bentley Bridge is progressing well, with the final elements of the concreting currently taking place. Waterproofing has also been applied to the buried concrete surfaces whilst the building up of the stone embankments is almost complete.

The new roundabout on the A1079 roundabout is taking shape, with the kerbing and surface layers now in place, with preparations underway to remove the contraflow in the coming weeks.

Along Minster Way the focus of the work has been on the northern side of the road, which has now been widened. The earthworks on this section are now complete, the drainage has been installed and preparations are underway to begin the kerbing in the coming weeks.
